20 under 20 award
20 under 20 is an award that recognizes kids under 20 years of age that have have made an exceptional impact on their community. When I was 11, I was nominated by my school's community service director and was the youngest award winner for my year. Kicks for a Kause was mentioned in Atlanta Intown Magazine and I was featured on the cover along with the other award winners. I am forever grateful for my community's continued support and look forward to spreading their love across the world. Thank you ATL!
Kohl's Cares Award
I was nominated by a family friend for this award that recognizes students who do great community service. Kohl's Cares is a scholarship program that recognizes kids across the country who have started an organization or charity to help other people. For this award, Kohl's selected a winner for each Kohl's store across the country and I was lucky enough to be chosen as a store round winner. It was such an honor to receive this award and I am so grateful for the recognition that Kicks for a Kause and I have gotten so far through this experience.
Westminster's Alternative Gift Fair
Kicks for a Kause has been asked to participate in The Westminster Schools' Alternative Gift Fair for 4 years. Each year, several organizations come together to sell christmas gifts to friends and family of the Westminster community in order to raise money and awareness for some of the most inspiring nonprofits both locally and nationally. We have raised hundreds of dollars each year from this event and we love making an impact on our community!
